Smiley Saturday (+1)

Well this Smiley Saturday is for yesterday but I didn't spend more than ten minutes awake at home yesterday hence I am posting today!

I had about seven hours sleep on Thursday then spent all Friday finishing my final assignment of the semester. All done now, yay!

I then went to a Trivia Night with my parents and two of my brothers and it was Friday the 13th themed and so much fun. Afterwards (at about 11:30) I decided to visit my friends as Matt is down from Gladstone. I ended up staying not half an hour as planned but almost three hours and played countless games of 500 and 13. I'm glad I stayed up as I haven't hung out with them for awhile between uni, Peter leaving and prac.

I tumbled into bed for about 5.5 hours sleep then took myself off to BETS, a Board Elect Training Seminar for Rotaract. It was pretty good, yummy barbeque lunch and definitely left me and the other members from our club feeling motivated and inspired about the year ahead. One of the girls made a general invitation for people to join her and her Rover friends in going to the cinemas that night to watch Sex and The City - I took her up on it and I had soooooo much fun! We had dinner first at The Brewhouse: amazing atmosphere, great prices, yummy food - terrible service.

But it was nice to spend an evening with her outside of a Rotaract context and develop our friendship so even though I was exhausted by the time I arrived home at 12:30, it was definitely, definitely worth it and definitely topped off a smiley few days. :)

ETA: After church this evening I had a steak dinner at Mum and Dad's (yummy) then came home and spoke to my 'St George mum' for 20 minutes or so then my good friend Dani (who lives at the Sunny Coast) for an hour and a half! She's coming to stay with me on Wednesday and Thursday night, I absolutely can't wait! How smiley is that?!

A very inspiring Smiley Saturday on Sunday.
I remember the feeling of finishing final assignments definitely a reason to smile and cheer.
It is great you are involved in Rotary - so many volunteer organisations are going down

Hey Cat,
Glad to hear you had such an awesome weekend! I think it's nice every once in a while to be so busy on your weekend you don't have time to stop and think! Alternated with rest weekends sometimes, hehe :)
And how fantastic was Sex and the City!! I loved it!
